Fall Closet Cravings
I was sitting in my car the other day making a list of everything I wanted to have for the Fall when I realized it would make a pretty good blogpost. Life got in the way and I hadn’t acted on that, but lucky for me, Shopbop decided to do their Fall buy more save more sale and it finally got me to launch into action! I own a lot of these pieces so by no means am I purchasing every single thing on this list, but here are some items I’m looking to add to my closet or rent through nuuly (I’ve been LOVING nuuly) for the Fall!
I just got these Converse platform sneakers and I am so impressed with how comfy they are and how cool they make me feel. I am between a 7 & 7.5 these days and went with the 7. A great funky cardigan is always on my list and this Farm Rio choice is so fun. Great with the Agolde denim shown below and a simple bodysuit or tee. I am forever a believer in the Aviator Nation sweatsuits because they make me feel like I’m dressed sort of cool as opposed to in a sweat suit. The sweatshirt pulls double duty as a great graphic option and the sweatpants are always so comfy. Worth the splurge imho.
I grabbed the New Balance x Staud sneaker collab and I’m so impressed with the quality and comfort of this sneaker. This pastel variety is fun. I’ve been wearing my overalls a lot lately and I really love the wash of this Free People denim option. Great with a bodysuit and I’ve heard this SKIMs bodysuit is a must-have.
Moving on, I love this dress shape but the colors and ruffles are so fun. Paired with the white cowboy boot? So fun. Abercrombie always kills the vegan leather game and the curve love fit seems to work well for me! Golden Goose sneakers are obviously a huge splurge but I find the price per wear on these babies is well worth it. I like these basketball-esque sneakers, I can’t seem to get on board with the Air Force Ones but these are a fashionable happy medium.
A simple grey sweatsuit is on the my list for the Fall. Old Navy has a great option here – top, and bottom. Toss the leather jacket on top with the GG sneakers for a truly cool, off-duty look. Again, the leather jacket is a splurge but I don’t know that I’ve ever not heard someone who owns this Madewell jacket not RAVE about it! Daydreamer makes my favorite graphic tees. This Rolling Stones tee is too cute. Love it with jeans and this oversized blazer. A denim jumpsuit finds itself firmly on my list. I love love this Free People option. I grabbed a pair of platform clogs last year and they’re a happy medium in terms of dressy and casual and they seem to pair well with the more straight leg denim, and flares like this pair!
Taking things more to the athleisure side of my life – I grabbed this half zip from Lulu two Sundays ago and I’ve washed it maybe 6 times so I can wear it near daily. Obsessed. Craving a pair of black flared pants and was happy to see Alo makes a 7/8ths option so we don’t have to deal with wet pants when it rains (IYKYK from my college days). Love this sleeveless hoodie also from Alo, the color is killer.
A few things I forgot to put in the graphic – loving this grey dress, so casual and cute. Pair it with the short Uggs which are my favorite thing in the world when the weather gets cooler!
